“As evangelical Christians, we are guided by the Bible to be particularly concerned for the plight of refugees, individuals who have been forced to flee their countries because of the threat of persecution.”

Read the letter World Vision President Rich Stearns signed with seven other Christian leaders written to President Trump regarding the executive order on refugees here.

  • Leviticus 19:18 “You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.” Jesus also commanded us to love one another as he loved us. The current executive order by the government is indisputable hate of other people by the current President of the United States. America is a place where everyone is a refugee, excluding Natives. Everyone came here to seek refuge from their different countries. To make it more worse, the current refugees are seeking for safety due to security issues compared to the early settlers who were just running away from the controls of the government in their lives. It is like the executive is killing this people since they are sending them back to war-torn places which are full of bombings. This is definitely not what Jesus taught us, Jesus taught about impartial love and doing into your neighbor what you think is good if it were you.

    • I disagree the current president hates refugees. He is trying to make wise choices. We should encourage him, write him and pray for God to work. Previous administrations did not make good choices for our nation’s money or good policies, in some cases, giving our tax dollars to evil leaders of other countries.
